The first season of “The Golden Bachelor” started with 72-year-old Gerry Turner searching for love among 22 contestants.
In the end, he got engaged to 70-year-old Theresa Nist and the two revealed that they wanted to get married as soon as possible. Host Jesse Palmer announced at the end of the season finale that the wedding would air live on ABC and “all the Golden Women” would be in attendance.

Turner got engaged to Nist, a financial services professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey.
Is ‘The Golden Bachelor’ still with Theresa?
Turner and Nist are still together. Nist shared a video to her Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 17, of her and Turner dancing to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ 1983 song “Islands in the Stream.”
How many children does Theresa from ‘Golden Bachelor’ have?
Nist has a son named Tommy and a daughter named Jenny. She is also a grandmother, with her son and daughter both having three sons each.
Who was Gerry Turner’s wife?
Before joining the show, Turner married his high school sweetheart Toni in 1974. The two were married for 43 years and have two daughters, Angie and Jenny, and two granddaughters, Charlee and Payton.
Toni died of an illness in 2017, and six years later, with the support of his family, Turner joined “The Golden Bachelor.”

Although there isn't any confirmation at the moment about who will attend the first "Golden Bachelor" wedding, Palmer did announce at the end of the season finale that “all the Golden Women” would be there.
